Follow our Isle of Man Adventure route to experience some of the island’s highlights you can visit between the unbelievable TT Races!
The Isle of Man is world famous for the incredible TT Races. This annual event brings motorcycle enthusiasts together from across the world to experience this close up racing that is like no other.
There are many beautiful and quirky things to do on the island between the races, so follow our route and get visiting some of these interesting places and tasty treats.

The Isle of Man is full of treats, so between race days we took a look around the island.
After arriving off the ferry into Douglas, the island’s capital we start with a hearty full english breakfast and Harry’s Cafe, much needed after an early start in the UK.
The most important thing to do when you get onto the Isle of Man is to head to Fairy Bridge and get some good luck for yourself and all of the racers from the Fairies.
From Fairy Bridge, take the coast road up to Laxey and see the famous Laxey Wheel, the largest working waterwheel in the world.
Further up the coast is Dhoon Beach and magical place for you to gather your thoughts in peace and tranquility looking out over the ocean.
We followed the coast as much as possible to take the road all of the way around the island to Kirk Michael and the A.R.E. Classic Bike Collection a very special collection of motorbikes across the ages, definitely worth a visit.
Then round to Peel for lunch at Moore’s traditional kipper smoking house, delicious!
Now it was time to re-live that experience my time racing the TT and ride the mountain section of the course, which is made into a one way road for the entire time of the TT races, so everybody can get a taste of what it’s like to race this incredible course.
After that adrenaline rush, time for a quick drink in the famous Creg-Ny-Baa pub before heading back in Douglas for a fish and chip supper from Port Jack’s Chippy!
The Isle of Man is not only full of interesting things to see but also great, friendly people to talk motorbikes with. This is one motorcycle adventure you will be talking about for years, so get on your bike and go for an adventure!

The island is full of campsites during the TT weeks, many of them in somebody’s garden, I recommend to book a spot before you go to make sure you get a great view of the races.
