    Routes to adventure:
The Meat:  These rides are the main course of your adventure.  Five to eight different loop rides will depart each morning.  Small ride groups of 4-6 riders will be the norm.  Routes vary from difficult single track to low intensity adventure rides. There are a total of  20 routes available during the 4 days of riding.   You may choose how hard or how easy a day you wish to experience.  Routes will vary from 40 miles to 150 miles to fit your desires.  LEMs (Local Experienced Men) are available to answer questions and assist for all rides and routes.

    Optional Adventures:
Do your own thing:  Want to have a ride with just your buddy or a short easy day of riding?  These GPS, self-guided rides are your ticket.  These rides are designed to be less arduous than the group rides.  Easy-riding and just 1-4 hours long.  We provide you maps and GPS tracks for day’s adventure.  These routes are unique and do not duplicate the tracks of the group rides.

    What the riders say:

The Dakota 600 is the Super Bowl of off road MC riding events.  It is the most well organized event I have entered in the last 50 years.  I plan to make it an annual tradition.
Big Al E.   WR450F   Acworth, GA

I can’t say enough about my experience at Dakota 600.  The LEMs did an excellent job with my group every day with just the right amount of fun and exhaustion to make perfect days.  The hotel was more than courteous and took care of any need I had.  The food was great.  The fellowship was superb.  A good time was had by all!

I think the Dakota 600 in the Black Hills National Forest is the best mix of trails, scenery and weather a dual sport rider could want.
The LEMs definitely make the ride worth the money and the effort to travel to South Dakota.
The Black Hills area is full of history, sites and beautiful vistas that sometimes can only be seen on the Dakota 600.
    Ferris F. – KTM 350 EXC-F     Nacogdoches, TX

You guys were the best part of the riding in SD!  Your thoughts about having the LEMs setting-up the groups the night before, after they described the route, worked out really well. The resulting groups were the right size and skilled so the riding fun was enhanced.
    Great idea and execution!
          Will H. – KTM 500EXC   Austin, TX

The best way to see the Black Hills! The Dakota 600 was well organized to maximize the adventure and rife with new friends!

Tigra T. – KAW KLX300    San Clemente, CA

I have attended the Dakota 600 every year.  The variety of trails, vistas and excellent ride organization make my 2100 mile round trip more than worthwhile.  My best ride of the year!
    Rob K  –  KTM 690R     Grapevine, TX

It never ceases to amaze me who you meet at motorcycle events; the 2016 Dakota 600 was no less amazing! Old, young, enthusiastic, amazingly talented individuals brought together by the common bond of the enjoyment of riding. In less than a week we made life-long friends through unforgettable memories.
