Just outside of Laguna Seca Raceway is Monterey, a quiet and small finishing village that a slow pace of life most of the year, that is until MotoGP rocks into town and then the place turns into the motorcycle hangout and every year on a Saturday night, a bike show takes place on Cannery Row.
I’ve been for 4 years on the trot now and it’s honestly got quieter, tamer and more subdued every year, thanks to the over Policing, rules and regulations, however it is still an interesting place to walk through if you like looking at lots of motorbikes.
Last night I popped down to Cannery Row and shot a few of my own favorite bikes, grabbed some Fish & Chips in a British Pub with the lads from MotoMorphic, then called in to see Jason Britton and Co who were burning rubber in the XDL stunt area at the same time as a few scantily clad women danced on stage, all before heading back to the track campsite and warming up on a glug of Whiskey (Thanks Kevin!) as I hit the sack.
as I hit the sack.
