Africa time is here, after a rather long flight from the US, 18 hours to Dubai and another 8 hrs to Johannesburg I finally made it to South Africa and where the African adventure starts.
Before the adventure starts a knowledgeable guide took us all around Johannesburg and showed us the sights.
We first went to the top of the tallest building in South Africa where you could see all of the city and the surrounding area then we went into the townships, slums and then on to Soweto and the home of Nelson Mandela.
This country is very diverse, the rich and very poor living not that far from one another, but everyone seems friendly and I just can’t wait to get on two wheels and go and discover more of this great country, here are a few photos from the day.
