Here are a great selection of photographs from the Indianapolis MotoGP weekend, taken by our friend and very talented photographer Kevin Warren from Digital Press Images.
The Indy GP was won by the ever rapid Casey Stoner on his Repsol Honda who now looks to be charging to his second MotoGP title, he’s on a real roll of wins and is going to be very difficult to beat.
However, no one looks like they are going to hand it to him, he’s got to fight off his own Honda team-mates of Pedrosa and Dovizioso plus the very speedy Yamaha MotoGP team of 2010 Champion Lorenzo and the ever improving Spies.
Sadly their was no flat-track racing this year due to the collapse of the Sugarland stage at the Indiana State Fair Stadium just a few weeks before when sudden high winds ripped through the area and the stage fell down on the waiting fans and tragically killing 5.
The MotoGP championship heads to Misano/Italy this weekend where the battles on and off the race track continue…
