This adventure started as we picked up a Yamaha FJ-09 from Yamaha Kelowna. We then took the back road out of town and immediately we had the road to ourselves.
British Columbia was beautiful right from the start as we rode up the side of Okanagan Lake and over the top down to Vernon.
Then we took Highway 6 all the way to New Denver, crossing Upper Arrow Lake on the ferry and stopping for a burger at the River Ridge Golf Cafe, delicious!
The scenery was stunning in every direction and riding lakeside again at Kootenay Lake down to Toad Rock Motorcycle Campground where we bedded down for the night.
We had a quick refresh at Ainsworth Hot Springs and then took our favourite road in the region, the 31a from Kalso to New Denver. Filming this on the way down meant we got to enjoy it properly on the way back to New Denver.
Celebrating with a burger at The Paddy Shack before taking the bike back to Yamaha Kelowna.
We’d had a great ride in this gorgeous part of the world.
Now it’s your turn, get on your motorbike and go ride in British Columbia, you’ll have a blast!
